Difference between LQ4 and LQ9??????

Default Difference between LQ4 and LQ9??????

are the pistons the only difference? Are rods and crank of different (cast/forged)??

Rods are different too, the LQ9 rods are beefier. Crank is the same I believe.

Ditto on above. Heads same, block same, intake, crank, cam. LQ9 has flat tops versus the LQ4 dished slugs. LQ9 also has bigger bushed rods.

i believe the cranks are balanced differently due to the difference in rod and piston weights, although i've swapped them around with no issues(yet ).

I think it is 9.4:1 vs 10.2:1 or so.
