man that sucks. I would follow what TieRod said. Did it smoke really badly when it did run? You might run some injector cleaner in there too.

One time I was at a gas station with my dad and the guy next to us in an old burban I think filled it with disel then topped it with a couple gallons of gas, he said it made it run better. WTF anyone heard of this?

i wasn't there when he drove it. he got about a mile down the road and i guess he put his cell phone down long enough to hear the valves and crap yelling at him. he isn't too mechanically inclined nor does he know when something is bad. this time he got lucky and decided to pull over and wait to see what the problem was. after that it wouldn't start. i have the truck tore apart in my garage. it is a little chilly out and i don't feel like laying on cold concrete just yet. either way, i should have it running today if there isn't any other problems.

I though Diesel pumps had larger spikets so they would fit in the filler neck of a gas vehicle? Or is that only when a diesel spicket is at teh same pump with other gas spickets?

Me and Tracey were talking about the same thing. It was a stand alone pump that was next to dual regular gas pumps. I know leaded pumps were bigger and wouldn't fit. Step child did say it had a funny strap on it but it didn't register in his brain what it was for.

Damn, he couldn't smell the difference or feel the greasy a$$ handle on the pump? Diesel is just some dirty nasty crap, lotta power in that stuff though.
