Default Did I run out of injector or is something else happening here?

A guy in a nbs silverado was in front of me today, going about 50mph. He must have seen me rolling behind him, because I noticed a huge speed increase all of a sudden, and could smell the motor putting out. I laid into mine and blew by him well past the speedo capabilities. Well, I didn't get out of it for a while and really wanted to make a statement. I have no idea how fast I was at, but it honestly felt faster than I've gone before in a truck. Anyway, the truck, all of a sudden, kinda cut out on me. Kinda like a slight miss. I got out of it and checked my tach. It had only gotten up to like 4500rpms up top, so I didn't figure I had blown up anything. Did I find the max on my injectors or what? Any help?

the injectors wont do that, it would just start to lean out. could you have hit your new speed limiter?

It's a possibility. I'll have to call tomorrow and see what it's set at. Like I said, I was rolling pretty hard! Kinda felt like it was on ice.

Ive been having huge problems out of my nelson tune for months
Ive went to the track before and after my yank 3000 and produced no gains
(14.25 before and 14.35 after Yank results)

But anyways my shift points were set at 6100 for 1-2 and 2-3 but
my ETC fuel cutoff rpm was set at 5900
so I bumped it up to 6500 and cured the problem no more long drawn out shifts

logging before showed TPS drops to 45% for about .8 sec each
and logging after the change showed 100% through the shifts
and a nice kick in the ***
maybe something worth having him check and fix

if it was overlooked like mine was

Thanks man. I'm about to order the LS1m setup so I can get some logs, then I'm going to send them his way. I appreciate the heads up.

UGH i hate when tuners do what gamedawg says... I specificaly asked my tuner to set my fuel cut at 6200 he said i don't see a point in doing that but i will and i asked him to set the shiftpoints at 5700, well come to find out it hesitates a slight bit right before shifts and i found that my fuel cut is set at 5666... if i try to manually shift it just pulls pulls pulls and then bogg cus of the cut, shifting at 5700 is putting me bellow my power range and is making me a little slower... i just wanted to vent a little

The same thing just happend to me wiith this tune I got this week. My shift points were set at 6200 and the rev limiter 6400 but the ETC was set at 5900. It was shifting really F'd up! It doesnt matter now because about 10 miles into that tune I destroyed a piston and killed the 4.8! Im not saying that was the reason obviously but it just sucked!
