I just saw this video today, I thought it was a cool test to show how much clearanceing a set of headers really effects performance

 

Pretty Interesting stuff! I was amazed at the results myself...

 

Now they need to do the test again but with a PD blower :p

 

Very interesting indeed.

I would like to see it on a set of big block headers and something that's fuel injected. I am curious if it would have any more of an effect on a big block? Fuel injection, I think would back up the carb results.

Also I think they should have tested it through an exhaust system like you would have on a vehicle to be a little more conclusive.

 

Yea seen it yesterday and thouht it was pretty interesting. I agree with fastbrick though on the exhaust system.

 

The results are pretty surprising. Did it hurt anybody else watching Freiburger beat on those headers mercilessly?

 

I didn't care at all, not my stuff.

Even without watching the video, I would have dented a set of headers to make them clear and not worried about losing 5-10hp.

 

It sure is interesting I saw it yesterday and wanted to post it here do not know why I didn't. Cool stuff anyway

Nope!!! Not like they were new or anything that would fit our trucks..

If they were Stainless works or ARH I probably would have cried...
