hello.

i bought a lq4 and i have it on a engine stand with the pistons and the cam still inside.

i was wondering if it will be ok if i can use some purple power degreaser that i bought from autozone. the stuff works really good i just want to know if it is going to be safe.
i want to avoid rust.

i was thinking afterwards i can spray some wd 40 just to keep it from rusting.

any advice or tips would be really appreciated.

 

Does it still have heads, intake and a pan?
