Very interested in your comments on these.... my cats are failing so it's time to upgrade and I'm not crazy about the Pacesetter ORY

Best I can do in the parking lot at work. Shrunk down to 25% size for your viewing pleasure...

looks good, so basically add a set of sleeves for the spark plug wires and bold it up?

Yeah, they bolt right in for the HD, SS, and Hummer exhaust. The regular Silverado guys won't be able to mate up to their stock exhaust or a "stock fit" cat-back though (you guys have a Y-pipe and ours is duals to behind the muffler, then it merges together). The good news is that the OBX headers include slip fit joints, so just leave those off and you're stubbed out for custom true duals from there back!!! Not to mention they're stainless!!!

EDIT: Forgot to mention, the OBX lt's are basically the old design Dynatech's, so double or triple up the protection sleeves on the back two driver's side plug wires!!! I cooked those up on mine through just one sleeve.

Those headers look real good! Very shiney!!! FWIW I thought the OBX "cats" were really just resonators. Although they would be great for visual inspections. I have Pacesetters and the ORY and having some trouble getting a sticker around here. They are really cracking down.

Where do you get the sleeves and will they hold up to DD duties?

I got mine at autozone for about 9-10 bucks for 2. I would have rather found some sort of heat shield instead of running multiple sleeves on the back to driver's side ones, but nothing was available quickly for me. I put 3 sets on those back two and haven't had any problems for the last 1000 miles (I drive a lot).
