normall the ORY would Y before the tranny x-member so we just extended it to where it Y's after the xmember. The cats are in the middle where it was extended. Also, I did slip fit with stainless steel band clamps (the 2 bolt hardcore kind). I think that I may put some of the 02 safe silicone in the slip fit soon to be safe. I installed the headers during winter so once summer came around I had to torque those clamps down good.
Hope that I helped some.

do 3" up until the resonators or just 3" all the way. Stepping down from 3" to 2.5 at the collectors is going to screw the airflow. It's not that HUGE of a deal, but IMO it's kinda worthless. True 3" all the way would be excessive too. I dunno, the ORY is perfect and running a single magnaflow straight through to the pipes being dumped or tipped out the back or whatever is ideal. Unless you're going to do some crazy FI stuff you don't need true duals like that off the LT's. If you're going for sound then go right ahead.

I got the coated lt's and they seem to be doing just fine, not as good as a Jet-Hot but still decent, after 2 years or so they still look like they did when I put em on. I think I payed somewhere around 400 or so for em with the ORY?

what about AZ Speed & Marine LT's? Anyone think they are better built than the pacesetters?

I purchased some used AS&M headers and they weren't worth the extra cost. For less money than the AS&M, I'd say the Pacesetters are well worth it. Don't forget, the AS&M headers don't have an ORY for bolt in installation (at least to my knowledge) and would require even more money to connect to the exhsut system. If you're going to do custom exhaust, buy the long tube stainless OBX headers... I LOVE my OBX headers.
