My truck has in the past yr started cutting out and popping at about 5500. I noticed today its down to 4500. Why is this. Is it bc i have 114,000 miles on the springs, or bc of the maf screen removal? Someone pls help.

I'd start with dirty injectors or a dirty MAF, try those first before you swap valve springs (stock valve springs supposedly have a service life of 200,000 miles)
