Default Cutouts before the Cats?!?

I have been debating cutting my cats off, but i was wondering if i put 2 cutouts before my cats, would i still have to mess w/getting o2 sims, or could i just turn the code off w/my superchips tuner after i cap them back on? Im just tossing around some ideas.

I thought just turning the code off would kill the timeing retarding and fuel problems..

Im not sure if it fixes the problem or just shuts the light off. I know when i had an exhaust leak on my camaro it was pulling timing, my cats were off but i had o2 simms on it at the time so that wasnt the problem, I had a bent header flange.

I like either one of those first two matt, they are made by the same folks and look pretty easy to install, you could get one too.

I think that you still need simms usually.
