Why wouldn't they want to look prettier? The same reason their wheels look good. Why does MB and a whole bunch of others offer chrome on their wheels. Aerodynamics or looks. you tell me. why does wilwood and baer say its look pretty? their sales too high?

Nope, powertrain cooling for Denso. they pay much better. we had a brake dyno in that building, but I steered clear of it. I did mostly transmission durability testing and some other NVH stuff. Fab shop aside, it really sucked.

Well to me performance is "pretty". Ferrari needs numbers for their cars that are awesome. I doubt they will sacrafice braking power to "look pretty"

They are not really worried about brake fade. Their brakes are huge, they have air ducts and their biggest problem when braking probobly tire traction with the road.

I didn't want to go in there. It was dirty and filled with brake dust. I spent a year around brakes. No thanks. Being paid to blow up transmissions was MUCH cooler.

dont overheat them, dont put twice the amount of tq in them as they are rated at. Change the fluid. Watch to make sure the dyno doesn't catch fire if you are testing them 24/7 (whoops; not on my shift luckily. I got paid to go home ) 'bout all you need to know right now.

Ohh yea, dont put a gear box in backwrds.... just wait till you hear about the 16000rpm power stroker story. Thats a good one. whoops again
