Vortec's are gas guzzling slugs...Get an LS based motor and do a re-pin for the ECU...

Give us a call they do still exist we keep them in a 2 bolt and a 4 bolt main new from GM and in a direct applicatin it will carry a 3yr 100,000 mile warranty. We also carry a replacement ht383e that will have a 2yr 50,000 mile warranty... Call us 1-800-456-0211
