How would a 6.0L crank(LQ4/LQ9) perform in my 5.3.

nevermind.. i just saw that the 5.3 stroke is 3.62 as well as the 6.0l. correct me if im wrong though.

but would the 4.8 flat top pistons help out any? (im not lookin into FI or Nitrous oxide

The pin height is different. LS1 pistons will fit just fine after you bore the block.
