Crank pulley issues

Get a Craftsman 3 jaw puller or another good quality puller, no Harbor Freight junk for this task. Put a 3/8 ext in the bolt hole, and use that to push on with the puller. The ext will be pressed on the end of the puller now, but it works perfect for this.

Get ahold of a used crank bolt. Cut the head of it off and slot the end somewhat like a flat head screw. Thread that heffer into the crank till its flush with the end of the crank snout. Then you can use it to rest the tip of the puller on. At least it worked for me.

yeah do exactly what silver and flyer said if it still does not come but some ***** into it, mine was on their harder than ****. but you need a good crak puller I busted three small ones. and then I went and bought a bigger one and that helpedm but you need to man handle that bastard.

I ended up getting it off once the engine was out - that thing was a bitch! It doesn't look like it spun, but it was f-ing tight. Tight enough that the bolt was loose but the pulley still wouldn't spin on the crank. Thanks for the help guys.
