Default Couple of questions...

Changing spark plugs today, got some ngk 5's well the sparkplug that is where the dipstick is, came out easily, put the new one back in, started it with my fingers and got 2-3 turns, put the ratchet on it and it got tight quick, noticed it was sticking out a little further than the others, took it back out, no buggered threads or anything, so i put it back in and it runs fine, anybody else had this problem? 2nd, go ahead and laugh, how do you take the turn signals out? i want to smoke them, and one good thing, gatorback belt ftw!!

Havent ever had trouble with the spark plugs on mine (course I have only changed them once) so I cant say on that.

On the turn signals, pull the two pins out of the headlight and remove the headlight bulbs to get the lens out of your way. Next you will see on the back of the turn signal a plastic clip pushed into a hole in the headlight housing assembly. On the drivers side this clip will be on the right side and on the passenger side the clip will be on the left side. Simply squeeze the clip together and pull the turn signal housing out (the clip is part of the turn signal housing). Thats it, very simple.

in the future do not ever use a wrench until you hand thread the plug all the way into the head. I suppose it's possible there was some dirt or something on the threads causing it to hold up.

His truck has one pin and I would just unplug the bulb.

Keep us posted on how the tinting goes on the turn signals.

yeah i figured it was just a minor snag spot that prevented me from going any further with my fingers, thats why i put the ratchet on there, figuring it would go back smooth, but not. never had this problem with my 460 fox body, because you could not screw them out, lol and on my 440 charger, forget about it, if you have ever put headers on a big block mopar, you would know... thanks for the turn signal help also
