I plan on buying HP Tuners within a couple days and have a couple questions. My truck is an 2000, but I hear alot about upgrading to an 02 pcm. If I were to buy an 02 off ebay, how would it come? Would it need to be completly reprogrammed or would it be the same as my stock 00? Is it a simple plug in and drive away? Reason I ask is, if I had an 02 in my truck, I would need to buy the 02 version of HP, so I could tune 02 trucks and whatever other year I buy. I know more people with 02s that would like tuning, so that would make sense to me since I could tune more than just my truck. Also I could always swap the 00 back in and have a stock truck again right?

And...

Before I send them the money, do you think that HP is good, or should I consider LS-1 Edit or EFILive?
