Question Could use suggestions trying to decide if a lsxrt is worth my time and money or not.

Im looking for the next thing to bolt on to my 99 nbs. Im pretty happy with what ive got so for. But I know it has more potential and i would like to plan my next step. Im lookin at a LSXRT intake and new tb. I use my truck for off roading (sand dunes), playing around a little on the highway, and plow snow. I love the torque feel i currently have so i dont want suppliment torque for hp, but I do love getting on the highway, putting the throttle down and shooting past everyone. No one expects to see me coming. But i need to come off the line strong more often then i go fast on the highway. I have read as much as i can find about the truck LSXRT and only found the intake adds approx 25 hp, but couldnt find anything about torque gain or optimal operating rpm. My current mods to my truck are listed in my sig. Any one with an LSXRT, similiar mods, ideas, or suggestions about going with this intake or going a different direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You can save a lot of money and go with a TBSS intake. Half the cost and nearly all of the performance.

LSXRT should make a bit more torque because the runners are longer I do beleive but the tiny bit extra doesn't justify the double in cost if you ask me.

P.s. Where in MI you live? I am in toledo, just 10 min south of the boarder.

sounds like you need nitrous. half the cost, 5x the power and a HUGE torque gain.

There are lots of dyno sheets floating around, you can expect low end torque loss.
