i know my bro had one on his ATI and he ordered a second bigger one i bet that you would prolly be able to buy one from them even though it may be from a different company it should still work it is an intercooler so it should still hook up the same and all

im sure someone will say dumb idea in a minute but i still dont see why it would not work

I know I have seen a vortech kit w/aftercooler for the 1999+ trucks, but I don't remember where. It wasn't until recently that I saw the kit for the 4.8 and 5.3 so you may not be able to get just the aftercooler yet. Contact Vortech and see what they got to say.

You can get the aftercooler kit from Vortech, but it is extremely expensive. Near 2K was what I was quoted. Ive been wanting to do a FMIC, but with the way the vortech is mounted, I cant see a way to run the pipe without moving ALOT of stuff. Im using a meth kit now, but after sealing all the leaking fittings with auto goop, its now become apparent that the pump is leaking from the casing as well. Ive also heard from numerous others about pumps failing while under high loads and causing serious problems.

I would definitely give them a call over at ATI (Procharger) they have alot of different intercoolers over there as far as sizes and what not. They also sell universal tubing kits to get it plumbed in. But it would probably be cheaper to just make your own tubing.

I told you to go with the Alkycontrol setup Green :p

I'm guessing that fabbing in an intercooler is gonna be a PITA??

I would stay away from the ATI stuff unless you want something cheap. Most of the ATI guys are replacing theirs with the OBX or similar single FMIC.

Ya, I know. You also suggested I go with something other than Vortech. What can I say? Im stubborn, obnoxious, and I think Im always right. Theres a few more, but my girl isnt here to ellaborate. I think eventually it will make good power, but Im probably going to have to spring for the aftercooler and T trim.

Bourbeaugmcx~ get some e-fans, a 160 t-stat and a after cooler that fits a mustang. You can get the cooler its self, the tank and some hoses used for not to much money.
