That mustange cooler looks like it may be difficult to route pipe. Im sure you can find one on Ebay that looks almost identical to the one in the kit. I would like to get the dimensions though so that I could copy the mounting position. Other than that, Ive seen the Vortech resovoir go for like $100 and youd need a pump, a heat exchanger, rubber tubbing, fittings, and of course some piping and clamps.

Instead of using the Vortech i would just got to an after market air to water style like the aftercooler. Thats what parish is using and it sure seems to allow for a lot of power. Not only that but it would be easy to make the piping.

If only it were that easy. You have to measure to make sure it will fit. There isnt quite as much room in the engine bay as I had thought. You still need to find a way to secure it.

You can have one made what ever size you want from griffen. I ordered mine and it cost like $360 for shipping and everthing. The only thing you will have to do is get the piping run for the intercooler but that is no big deal.

I think most of the ones I looked at were Spearco. They were over $900 new. I found one on Ebay that was exactly like what Vortech uses, but was outbid in the last few seconds

To get the most out of it, you will need a retune. You will be able to run more timing and most likely your VE tables would need adjusting since you would ahve higher efficiency. You may even need to pull fuel.

3.33 is stock. Obviously the amount of boost you make on each pulley depends heavily on what RPM you shift at. Shifting at about 5800 I get about 10# out of a 3.12. Im going to up it when I get around to doing the cam, springs, and pushrods. Im hoping to see maybe a little more when I shift at 6400, but we will see.
