hmm, free ram air mod cuts the bottom of stock airbox... and allows air to flow up the plastic piece that sits by the radiator... true free ram air...

i think if you go to www.instaluniversity.com they will show how to do it. not sure if i got the site correct or not. but also, www.sshotrods.com used to show how to do it. under truck performance. eitherway, in the south imo it is worth doing. cause it gets hot as hell here.

hmm, i did the mod last night, and i got a little bit of smog out of the motor when i started it for the first time..... why does this happen?

will return with video confirmation of how the tb bypass mod works.....

I had the mod done for a while, but I didn't like the look of it... so I put it back to stock.

I don't notice anything either way...

I figure the TB will get just as hot basking in the engine bay with the hood shut, and with all of the hot air off the radiator blowing at it once moving.
