Default Coolant Bypass

OK, search isnt working for me, and I have been sifting for the past hour. (found some other good stuff)

Anyone have a link to the coolant bypass mod? Was thinking about giving this a whirl for the heck of it.

All you need is a dual ended 5/16"(maybe 1/4) hose barb, two caps and a couple of clamps. I think I used the 5/16 hose barb. The hoses are actually 2 different sizes if I remember correctly, I just forced the smaller one on. Cap off the ports on the throttle body to keep junk out, and a flush wouldnt hurt either.

Well, I was able to find some plastic vacum line dual end connectors at the local auto shop. I would rather have something aluminum, etc. You all think the plastic will suffice? I could always scour the local Home Depot for something.....

Suggestions? (I did see the kit on the link, but I dont want to wait for shipping)

Thanks

I bought a brass 1/4 " I.D. Barb Splicer at Home Depot (part # : A-190), just go to the plumbing department. Removing the clamps was a b%tch, but after that everything went smoothly...cheap 10min mod
