Converter Question TCI????

Default Converter Question TCI????

Where is the cheapest place to buy the TCI SF 3000?

I'm pretty sure Summit has them for like $454.00. I believe the part #is 242931, or from Summit its TCI-242931. I don't see how the same converter can work for either the F-body and a Truck, as the weight difference is quite a bit, and when having a custom converter made weight is one of the main factors taken into consideration. Not saying the TCI doesn't work good in the trucks, as I've heard otherwise from other members, but I just don't like the "generic" usage of the TCI converters. I like my Yank, so of course I'm biased. Hope that helped.

I agree Ive heard mention that they dont thave similiar str's to the other converters

I got my TCI 3000 from Texas Speed. I love the converter so far. Really keeps the truck in the powerband!
