i have tried locking on 2 diferent set ups

first one was a 6.0 and a 100shot. i locked it up at about 4500 in 2nd and kept it locked till the end of the run. i gained at least .1 and about 2mph.

2nd set up is 6.0 with the turbo. same lock up rpm. i gained at least .1 and about 2mph.

it was very consistant. i could lock it and see a gain and then unlock it and loose the gain. i tried something like 4 runs locked and 4 unlocked.

something else is it always feels slower once you lock it up. i think a NA truck would probably gain too but i dont know that for sure. i will be helping a buddy of mine tune his 99ta and messing with the lock up is one of the things we are going to try. it is stock other than programing so it should tell us truck guys something.

well i would love to know the outcome parish, because if it is so then back to lock i go lol

just dont go by the seat of the pants dyno. it realy does feel slower.
