How Many Of You Guys Are Locking The Converters In 3rd Gear????
If You Are Locking The Converter @ What Rpm Are You Doing This????
Just Trying To Figure Out A Few Thing Cause Mine Don't Lock Til 4th Gear.wondering If This Would Help Me.

Do you mean locking at WOT in 3rd gear?
What are you using to tune?

i have mine unlocked at wot and was able to get 2-3 more mph out of the truck.

From my understanding, locking the converter yields higher and more accurate numbers on the dyno. So in theory, locking the converter should get you higher mph in the 1/4 and better highway pulls. I could be wrong though.

I am going to UN-lock mine at WOT in my next tune, because when it locks it boggs the truck to much. I think decision whether to lock or unlock depends on how much power you are making also.

Well I Was Thinking That May I Am Shifting High Enough To Lock It.i Cross @ 6800,though May Be It Would Help Me Alittle
