thinking of buying a yank 3000 and was wanting to know how much it may effect my gas mileage. I drive my truck 80 miles round trip to work and back and didn't want to make it much harder on gas. especially since gas is so high. <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" />

If you drive mostly highway miles, you should not see much of a drop in your MPG. With my Vig 3200, I am getting about 15.5 city/18 highway...which is a very little change from the stock converter.

Under normal driving conditions you probably won't see any difference. The difference is going to be in the way you drive. The Yank 3000's performance increase is to tempting, you'll have trouble keeping your foot out of it.
