How would the Yank Truck Stealth 2400 perform in my truck? I am thinking about possibly going with either this converter or the Trailblazer I6 converter. I am kinda leaning toward the Trailblazer because I would have money left over toward the install. I do not tow very often and when I do its nothing big, so that is not really a factor here. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

If you don't tow I would go with soemthing bigger like a 3000TT or vigilante. But the TB stall is hard to beat for price and performance. I will be going witht he TB stall becasue I do pull every once in a while but want the factory look incase waranty issues pop up.

Yeah, the warranty thing crossed my mind too. I would try to go with something bigger but my price range is kinda low. Looking for something in the $300ish range max unless I come upon some more $$$.

I went with a TCI stall streetfighter it stalls at 3K cost 426 shipped. It takes about 500 miles to break it in, my gas mileage was **** until I got the tune. But now I love it its very streetable and has really tightened up. I had some friends ride in the truck after the shift kit and stall and all I got was WOW theres something satisfying about the 1 to 2 chirp
. Get the kit with servos done at the same time(got mine from jag performance). They have to pull the tranny for the stall and this makes it alot easier to install the shift kit and servos if your truck is under warranty try and get a certified GM tech to do it. If anything else is discovered they can fix it under warranty, I had to get the tranny rebuilt after just 33k on the odometer. If you dont have a stock cooler you will need one.

I've got a Hughes Performance Street Master 2500 Stall converter and it is very streetable but woke the low end up considerably. I did install it with a transgo and vette servo and all, but I am very very pleased with it. This stall was 350 shipped.

Yeah, I plan on going through JAG for the Transgo, I'll try to get a converter installed at the same time. If I can get my system sold I will have at least $760 to work with so I will try to get something in that range.
