Yes ... Don't know how it would act though .. as far as driving characteristics.

I believe the Vigilante's fit all 60E's...trucks...f-bods...etc...it's a 9.5" verter if I remember correctly
I have the 3200 and it made my truck a lot more fun to drive. It is kind of loose which can get a little annoying in slow traffic. I might switch to something a little tighter this summer or whenever the tranny blows (soon)

what size are the Fbody stalls? can't be to terribly much different than the truck ones...jump on one of the GPs going on and get a good stall with a warranty and all that.

Well...when I went to pick up my truck after the vig install...the guy said he had to put a washer or something in there because the verter would not sit directly against the tranny...there was some play that, had he not put the washer or whatever, would've caused a shudder while I drive.
Hope that helps a little

According to Mike at yank the Ls1 converters have a standard lockup clutch because there are a on/off lockup And the trucks have a pulse withd modulated applied clutch which require a carbon fiber lock up clutch disc. You could use a LS1 but you would want to change you VB to a on/off apply or you would burn up the Ls1 converter.
