I really don't think I will have any PTV clearance issues, the lift is not that big and the duration is small...

I just found it strange that we have all these Cam threads all the time and no one really mentions what advance they are doing on the cam, mainly just LSA... I have also thought about just milling my heads and running my current cam, I could get its DCR up to 7.92 and SCR up to 10.17...

Just kinda toying around with the idea now, will decide after the converter swap in a week or so...

the converter should make the difference, on ls1tech i read a few threads about favorite mods and that was the overall winner every time.

If it doesn't lope real hard its obviously not a good cam.

My current cam has some lope to it, nothing like Bluecajuns thou, but you can tell there is a cam in it... When I got it inspected last week the inspector asked if I did....

He would have to advance that cam 8* to get to the 106 ICL he is looking for.

just get the converter in there and see how you like it... some milling on the heads isn't a bad idea though, maybe even some porting, or hell just get some stage 3 ls6 heads

Yeah i looked at that cam, but I am trying to keep the overlap to roughly -8* so I don't have to fight any idle problems, since I am tuning it myself, and I am not the best tuner..... That cam trying to keep the overlap to -8* and DCR close to 8.00 would be a rather difficult combination...
