I would have to disagree w/ most stock lightnings are lucky to break into 13's... I know plenty of guys who ran consistent 13.5 -13.6's bone stock... I think most of it narrows down to how u drive and where ur at... but on the other hand a EC w/ a radix should have no problem w/ a stock Lightning...

Oh yea and a 5.3 Tahoe doin 13.2's... definately one hell of a tahoe

He was saying he wants to beat the Lightnings (with F.I.) and that he can already hang with them NA...that's what I was disputin'. Either way, I'm sure with either of they options he offered he would be able to hang...but as for the high 11's low 12's he was talkin' about...that's gonna take some serious effort, as even Parish has only run 11.80's with just turbo (and no juice). Good luck either way.

You're right about that. It does take some serious work. He has a good platform for it and we know it's doable but it defiantely is not what i would call easy and trouble free.

I say anything under a 12.0 is not easy and trouble free

My truck ran 12's with a couple bolt ons and a cam with the 3.4" pulley on the RADIX. That's only ~7 psi.

Coming from a diehard twin screw guy...scratch the Kenne Bell off the list. I honestly don't know why Whipple and KB have the Best compressors, but like to cut the kit short by not having intercoolers. Well I guess STS doesn't have an intercooler either...

I would wait for the Combination Motorsports turbo kit to be completed (two months I believe)

I'll give you that one, but thats why i said to wait...Kenne Bell is supposed to be coming out with an intercooled kit... I think that "liquid intercooliong" is whipple's easy way out of actual intercooling but I could be wrong...

But not low 12s or 11s you light weight bastard! :p

Bascially like I said, you can't go wrong with any of these kits and all can get you where you want but how much work it's going to be will vary.

Just don't expect to do it on anything under 10psi. without nitrous.
