Compression Ratio
#1
Can't seem to find this answer anywhere, tried using a calculator but can't find all the numbers I need for that either. I'm trying to see what my compression ratio will be on my LM7, my options-
My 243's are already milled .030 I want to know my raito if I run a .040 thickness gasket, and my ratio if I run a .051 (stock) gasket.
Thanks- Kyle

I'm assuming stock bore and stroke. I tried looking up piston dish and got several different answers, the most common number seems to be -8cc. That does come out close to 9.5 CR, so that's what I used. 243 heads milled .030" should be about 59cc.
9.8 CR with .051" gaskets and 10 CR with .040" gaskets (approximately).

I have all your info right infront of me. I did quite a few hours of research to find this all when I was looking up C/R for my LM7 with 243 heads milled .040 with a .040 gasket.
Bore: 3.78
stroke: 3.622
Piston CC: +6.5
Deck Clearance: .008
all you need to know is gasket thickness and cylinder CC's .006 milled = to 1 cc
