Me neither...seems like a year ago I didn't hear much about it though. Before Quik got banned, he was bashing that cam saying that it was a turd...seems like a nice bumpstick to me

I remember you saying that you plan to stick with the Comp XER 224/230 when the time comes as opposed to the EPS 224/230. What springs are you/ will you be running if you go with the Comp 224/230 Corey?

PRC duals. I liked them when i had them on my 4.8. Honestly i never really waited for the engine to warm up and i beat on it and they never skipped a beat.

Pac 1218s w/ .600" lift for over a year no isses. Go with 1518s if your that worried. The duals put more stress, and theyrr not immune to breaking either

The 1518's have experienced a few breakages actually, there are some threads on Tech. I think that PAC is on it though and the problem should be remedied quickly if it isn't already. Good to hear that the 1218's are working for you...seems like a lot of guys don't like to cut it close, but if the springs are supposed to work up to .600 lift, you would think that anything less than that wouldn't be a problem

Good to hear, they're on top of my list that I'm considering. I just noticed that the Crane duals are just a tad over $300 on Vinci's site, which is much less than I saw them for on Summit which was over $500 IIRC (maybe that included pr's? not sure) I like the looks of the Lunati duals also, which have lightweight hardened retainers which are only slightly heavier than ti retainers, but don't wear as quickly.

I called Geoff at EPS and asked him about a cam for my lq9. He suggested a 226/230. From everything I've read I've yet to see one bad think about the EPS stuff. My question is to the people with them, aren't the lopes less radical than what has been on the market for years to promote valvetrain life and less valvetrain noise? How do these cams perform in the midrange? Just wondering if the valves are slow off the seat and easier on valvetrain how it affects midrange. Maybe I misunderstood what I've read
