What are the specs on that truck? Headers? whant kind of muffler?

i ran the 216-220 cam for about a year. i ran it in an ext cab with a 2400 stall and a nelson tune. my first 12 second pass was made on both. 3000? no i dont think you need it that high. it will work fine with a 2800 imo. as a matter of fact i still liked the manors of that cam more than any other. idled great with a nice lope. good cam.

Thanks for the video dozer dan, Thats almost got me convinced to that cam w/ 2500 stall. how did that truck run? I got 4.10's and a tru-trac in the mail.

Don't be discouraged. I ran that in a 5.3-powered RCSB w/ a 3000 stall. With a good tune, the 4.8 would run with that. There's someone I know on this board that ran with a slightly bigger cam, and the 4.8 was SICK! Run it, and see for yourself.

It runs damn good. Its got 3.42 and stock stall. He's beat a procharged 5.3, some f-body cars, he spanked me before my tune. PM dirt_track_racer_81 he could tell you more about it
