I got the cam in last night.
I had some friends there, but they were busy
I was pretty much on my own.
I started at about 7:30pm, a couple breaks and dinner included, I finished at 3am.
Everything went pretty smooth, besides all the bugs around the halogen lights.
Truck has a nice deep lumpy idle. Sometimes stopped in gear it will lope pretty good. Lights will dim a little as it gets in and out of 400rpm.
Powerband feels nice and fat, from idle all the way to 5800 shift.
Midrange exhaust is louder and sounds very mean.
I will get it tuned for the cam with HPT next week.
So far I am happy. It feels like I hoped. Tuned will be even better.
Heres a little clip, sorry about the traffic noise.

Next mod will be an Eaton LSD I'm sure.

Sounds good, mild, yet you can still tell that it's cammed...the 112 lsa definitely makes a difference in lope over a 114. (I have the same cam on a 114 and it really takes a trained ear to pick up that I've swapped cams)
