Cold Engine Oil Pressure 19lbs

Default Cold Engine Oil Pressure 19lbs

Finally got my truck running right with the new intake and its set few a few weeks..its been cold 20's at night and its prolly in the low 40s now and my oil pressure was 19lbs and fluctuating..just wondering what most peoples oil pressure is when its cold

when cold at cruise speeds(1500-1800rpm), around 50-60 psi. stock 4.8

well i have never had under 40psi EVER, hot, cold, idle, WOT, doesnt matter.

mines above 40 for sure at all times. Even cold.

Does it say 19lbs through you EFi-live or on the cluster gauge?? If on the cluster gauge you might wanna check it on your EFI-live to see if that is what the computer is reading, because the steppermotor in the cluster might be crapping out. (you've prolly already done this just thought I'd throw it out there)

My truck did almost that exact thing when the stepper motor went bad on mine and I had to replace the cluster..

havent done this yet as i dont have efi live
