Default Coil Ground Wire- What color is it and Where?

Does anyone know what color the ground wire is for the drivers side coils? Also where does the ground connect to?

I've concluded that I have a bad ground feeding my drivers side coils. (At least I assume the Megafuse IGN A provides to the drivers side where I've had most of my problems.) Unlike mine, I checked my brothers truck and there is no voltage on that fuse.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

The IGN A fuse is not related to ignition system operation.

All 8 of the coils are powered by the IGN 1 circuit/relay. Odd cylinders through the INJ 1 fuse and even through the INJ 2 fuse(Pink wires). All 8 share a common ground circuit(BLK wires). Each coil has its own trigger circuit from the PCM. Each bank has a separate low reference circuit from the PCM (brown wire)- even cylinders are connected to pin 61 on the green PCM connector- the wire is Brown/white at this point. Odd cylinders are connected to pin 60- the wire is still brown.

Okay, that's good to know... But what is the IGN A fuse related to then?

The "IGN" actually refers to the circuit being powered up when the ignition switch is in certain positions other than OFF.

"IGN A Fuse 40A Ignition Switch RUN, START, RUN/START/ACCY, STARTER Relay"

That would most likely explain why my radio is staying on then.

This is the biggest headache ever.

Actually, the IGN A fuse should be hot at all times. It feeds the ignition switch though for those circuits that are active in the described key positions. It also feeds the starter relay(not through the key switch).

The radio not shutting down is likely something else.

That's really wierd because my brothers '04 RCSB IGN A was at zero.

If you look at the top box in this diagram it is the same for 03 and 04. This is from the 2003 service manual.

The ignition switches are different though and the accessories run through IGN A(as the first fuse in the chain) in 2004, but through IGN B in 2003.
