Im picking up 4 Gen 3 long blocks Wednesday for $400... got a Gen 4 Alum 5.3 ( i think its a LC9) with 243 heads yesterday for $250, it was running but had "low" oil pressure at hot idle, 15psi.. I figured if it was running then it aint hurt.
You wanting to do some Gen 3 block, Gen 4 rods and some 3.898" Pistons?

I'd like to use 706 heads, but the truck will see boost, so I need to be around 10:1 at the hottest. Not sure what piston options are out there, when I was looking at 706 and flat tops from WS6 Store I was at like 10.8, and that's a little toasty for a truck that pulls (trailers and 🐱
