From a dead stop he might take you but there no reason you would not be able to catch up. Tell him you have not traction due to not having a posi diff and go from a 30 roll. You should take him easily from a roll.

Definitly going to line'em up no matter what this weekend. The guys over at Chevy Truck World seem to think i dont really stand a chance. I have more faith in my little 4.8 then that.

I was just reading that. I was thinking that they haven't seen those new fords. Those fords are big and heavy with very little areodynamics. I am not saying that the silverados like bullets going through the air but they seem to be more areodynamic and lighter than that land barge of his. A stock 5.4 only puts down like what? 300fwhp? Your 4.8., I think, has 285-290fwhp stock plus your mods.

you said you have 3.23 gears and not 3.42s? I think you got him easy. Do gears and put the tow/haul on for a little firmer shift and then ask him if your brake lights are working after you smoke him

i think you will take him no problem. set your 1-2 shift at +3 and your 2-3 at +5. you should be able to take him from a roll or a dig just try not to spin bad off the line you may have to slide into it from a dig. Suck that piece of s@%# up!!!
