allright you guys on here really know your stuff now i have a 2004 4.8 reg cab short bed with 3.23's exhuast and intake also a hypertech (cant wait to get a real tune) a good freind has a 2004 ford ex-cab 5.4 i think he has 3.55's with just exhuast both rolling on stock equipment how bad do you think he will get me hes talkin alot of crap and i know he has the edge with the gears and bigger motor just wanted to know how bad will the outcome will be for me.

The ford should run around 16's maybe high 15, I think it would be a good race.

the 5.4 is a turd. And he is about 500lbs+ more than you... remember there is a weight difference between you guys. I think it may be more than 500 lbs difference... bc the f150s are heavier than silverados i beleive. Is he 4x4?

 

no hes 2wd but i also have a snuglid that adds some lbs to my truck and i also have speakers and an amp we plan on having some fun this weekend at the local deserted street so we will be able to see for sure i also havce the hypertech so i can somewhat play with my shift points

is there any free mods i can do to maybe free some hidden power up like the TB bypass mod or anything like that i just would hate to give my freind bragging rights for any amount of time he bought a ford should he really still be my freind
