It's not hard. CRC makes a mass airflow cleaner. I asssumed he just cleaned it out with that. Napa, advance carries it. About 7 bucks a can.

Just used carb/choke cleaner and some compressed air and just a little bit of gentle brushing with a soft bristle brush.

Carb cleaner is not a good thing to use on the inside of a MAF. Some carb cleaners will leave a film. MAF cleaner or electric contact cleaner is only thing to use.

On Christmas Day after I threw on my ventshades I cleaned my MAF and I have to say that I have been ignoring this!! I have owned my truck since it was a yr old and Im the 2nd owner and I believe I have only cleaned it once in the past. Needless to say it took an entire can of MAF cleaner to get the black off of the outer screens lol.

Its been so long since I had any major throttle response that I forgot what it felt like lmfao, and I was thinking my cats were getting clogged.
