Default o2 keeps going out in water

Twice in the past 4 months i have shorted out an o2 sensor after driving threw water. Any suggestions? Im not talking about alot of water, im talking about minimal water on the street. When i hit it, the truck starts idling rough dumping tons of fuel to the left bank. Thanks

Gonna put it on a lift Monday and check everything. It's gotta be a bare wire or something. Thanks for the input guys.

actually I remember having the same issue a few years ago. Later the bank 2 sensor 1 went out. Replaced it and have had no issues since.

have you checked your knock sensors...? If they get wet they will also throw codes. I have had similar issues when I detail the motor or I have been out puddle splashing and moisture gets in and sits on top of the knock sensors. The codes I usually get say that the bank 1 or bank 2 has low circut input or something like that if i remember right.

There is a "fix" out there to put a blob of rtv silicone on top of the sensors to basically make the water bead down them instead of letting it sit on top of them....... After you replace them.
