does it suck? How hard is removing the tranny? What is the overall breakdown of the install? What other things could be tackled during this swap?

 

i'm guessing TC... as in torque convertor......??? or transfer case if its a 4-by?

 

the tc isnt all that bad at all. the tranny isnt that hard to pull. once the exhaust is out of the way and the starter is out its is easy.good jack will help out. i think parish said to make sure the converter is full of oil when you install it. just take your time.

 

not bad. if you're doing it on your back figure about 6 hours for a 2wd and 8 hours for a 4wd.

 

is there any benefit to swapping the converter on a stock truck (less CAI and mild exhaust)?

 

yes, the stock converter is too low of a stall for any kind of good performance.
