opinions please. What will two (keeping the true duals, no X or H crossover) of these sound like? I figure that if I dedicate one per pipe, but shorten the overall case length, that will still turn out to be more muffler per pipe, and hopefully a bit more mellow at part throttle.

Right now I have an 18" case dual 2.5" in/out, and it is loud as hell. Also running LTs, no cats. I am looking to tone it down a bit, and I have used a borla universal with a loud mouth kit a few years back on my WS6 and really liked the results.

 

When I was shopping mufflers, all of the Borla sound clips that I heard were loud as hell, but I think that I was looking at XR-1's or something like that. Might want to search Borla ProXS on YouTube to get an idea of what you're in for.

I have 2 4" round 14" long 2.5" in/out Magnaflows that I've been too busy to take pictures of and put up for sale...similar to what you linked to, only Magnaflow and round instead of oval...hit me up with a PM if interested I also have a Magnaflow x-pipe, although I noticed you said no x-pipe...

 

what would it sound like if I put on two Dynomax 12" bullets after the magnaflow? They are only $40 from summit, might be worth a try. I don't want to loose the WOT scream that she has now if I can help it, but I need to quiet it down for part throttle driving.

I was also considering making a pair of baffles for the exhaust tips. What effects do you think that might have?

 

My dad is running those Borlas on his C4 vette, sounds great and mild mid range and pretty loud WOT.
