Changing differential and transmission fluid
#1
Hey I am changing the differential fluid for the first time since the 4.10 posi install. The housing says to fill with synthetic to 10 mm or something like that below the fill hole. I am using a non synthetic and a tube of friction additive so I was wondering if I need to fill it all the way up to the hole or not???? Also has anyone else had trouble getting the transmission drain plug out??? The thing won't budge and I am worring the head will break off before the bolt will come loose.

Its a 4L60E, the drain plug won't budge even with a breaker bar, I am afraid to pull any harder because I don't want to twist the head off the bolt. Anyone else removed the drain plug without any problems? 2 guys on FSC said the head twisted off before the bolt would come loose. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />
