Default changing cam

how hard is it to change my cam without pulling the engine?? i know it sounds dumb, but i havent really worked on this engine yet.

don't know for sure about your truck, but it should not be much different than mine, so the only thing that I see that may make it more difficult would be that yours is 4 wheel drive. So it should sit up higher and make for a little more work. Was able to change out my cam, pushrods, and install LS6 valve springs all in one day. Spend the money for the valve spring tool from Crane Cams, it is the best. Search here for cam installation instructions, they are good. In my installation I used the magnet method to hold up my lifters while I switched out the cams. Don't be afraid to do it yourself, it is easy if you follow the instructions. You can find the pocket magnets at Autozone cheap.

i'm 6'4", so i dont think the higher stance will be a problem. i only do my own work. i'll never have someone work on my truck for me.... unless it's to build a tranny or do body work cuz i suck at it. LOL
