8* knock?! Isn't that HUGE?!

Nice times, but it sounds like there is a lot left in tuning... Arent' stock internal SS's in the low 14's?

I think that knock is really hurting things...

even if the truck does go i highly doubt i will run it. too many problems right now, plus the supercharger is sold so it needs to come off, and the tranny is sold so it needs to come off, and i dont need to go breaking either one of those. but if my heads come in next week like they are suppose to then i might have the 408 in with the TH400 but now blower yet. we will see. keep our fingers crossed. all im waiting on are the heads now.

haha no i talked to them today. The problem was they had a set of bare AFR castings there with my name on them for my buddy to work on and someone else took them and started workin on them for another job so they had to order another set and thats whats taking so long but they said they should be done this week and i should see them next week. Thanks Paris at TEA hes the man.

I've been doing the tuning on the truck. While we were at the track sunday I logged a bunch of data on it and it is seeing all the knock retard when he's sitting still at idle, it just comes and goes.. then it will clear up about 80% while he cruises around, then comes back at WOT. The truck is running pretty rich and I don't have the timing too high, so I'm sure all of it (for the most part) is false knock. I'm going to investigate his warped power steering pulley and a few other things and see if that clears it up.
