Well I hollowed my cats and put a flowmaster on and it seems to have lost a bunch of torque of the line???

question? Is that normal? it dont burn up the tires off the line. I have the stock y pipe with the cats gutted.. then a single 3in in/out flowmaster going through the stock tail pipe... it sounds pretty sweet...

Well with just an exhaust don't expect to "burn the tires off the line" as it's gonna take a hell of a lot more than that to roast them.

Sound and performance do not always go hand in hand...

With the 5.7 in it it would roast the tires... After I just did the exaust It wont do it now???? I lost a bunch or torque. I'm wondering what I got on the big end?

when i did a cat back, I lost some low-end as well, definatly noticable. But then after, I installed longtubes, took off the cats, and my low-end is back, and i would say a little stronger. Im also using a x pipe. .. 4.10s will help off the line too!..

It sounds like you don't have enought back pressure now. A crossover of some sort should help fix it some.
