What kind of effects do removing the cats have on a truck.

i have had mine off for around 6 months and i am trying to figure out what my advantages are other than sounding really good.

I seemed to have lost a bit of my lowend power. But it does sound alot better. I tlked to Nelson and he said he can tune it, by erasing the O2 sensors and the cat play with the timing to get back the lowend

The only affect besides sounding better was that i lost hella gas mileage. It seemed to have a little better top end but the low end lost a little

I would have to say most people who say they lost power, did it on a stock truck. If your making good power, then it becomes a restriction.

i didn't really notice any difference in gas milage. did notice a horrible raspy exhaust. and it also got louder.
