Will removing cats affect gas mileage?

J/W if I put mine back on if my gas mileage will increase?

The only plans I have now are to get the exhaust redone and maybe put cats back on it. No other plans for it as I"m a poor bastard buying gas for it.

Oh, for some reason I got the impression you were lifting it with bigger tires.

I picked up my '92 Saturn for a song I've put over 40k on it in a year and a half. Still gets 30mpg even with 180K on the clock. I've more than paid for the car w/ the savings in gas, not to mention having a truck with only 70k miles as opposed to 110k+. Just a thought--I'd hate to see you get rid of the truck.

I've heard that before...I stopped listening to what he says he's doing to the truck along time ago
