I want to do a 3in exhaust system from full length headers to X pipe to dual super 10 delta flows but I can't find any cats that are universal the ones I've found are in a kit with a y pipe what can I expect to run into when doing a cat delete on a 03 silverado

 

Exhaust will smell more and it will definitely be much louder without them. Magnaflow makes a nice universal cat in a few different sizes. I think the spun cats are the ones my old work used to use for gas or diesel trucks that needed new cats.

 

I found some 3in cats I like it a pretty loud but not obnoxious I like it deep though and I've never had a whole 3in setup and I figured it would be deeper than 2.5

 

Yup magnaflow high flow cats.

 

I used thunderbolt cats on mine, they were the shortest 3" I could find.

 

3" Magnaflows are available as short as 8" overall.

Cheaper option would be Thunderbolts. Longer at 11" overall, but significantly less expensive. They seem to get good reviews from users on other sites.
