Default Can't get no traction action

I've been trying to shakedown my new engine combo and traction has definately become an issue. The truck will smoke the tires all the way through 1st and 2nd plus it gets sideways on the 2nd to 3rd shift. This thing is down right scarey.Any suggestions?

I'm not worried about traction at the track a good set of slicks can take care of that ,but this thing breaks the tires loose from a 50 mph punch and the torque feels like it's twisting the entire truck.

I just think it is awesome that you have a tohoe like that, i would love to have that thing, its got so much room, and drives smooth. I've driven many nbs tahoes and they are not even close to breaking the tires loose or having traction issues, yours must be insane with that setup.

but about traction, i like my eaton posi it works very well

Maybe dropping it some will help. Get you some meaty street tires. I really like my Hankook's.

step down on the gearing ..(maybe 3.73s) and it will help somewhat, and make more usuable power once your ripping on the topend ... but sticky tires is going to be your best bet.
