Last fall when chev was having $5,500 in mfg cash back rebates I started looking for an 04 RCSB. Couldn't find one in the whole midwest (I'm from MN) and then started looking throuh Missouri, Kansas and indiana, illinois, NOTHING. I then found one in Blanchard, OK. It's a RCSB with 4.8 and 5 speed. BLACK. 3.73 gears with G-80 locker. It was ordered by regency conversions in TX to be made into a RST conversion but they didn't sell enough so the dealership in OK picked it up. I was out the door after taxes and licenses for only $19,900 (That includes my financing and all). I love my truck (for the month I got to drive it before storing it). All I can say is if you want a RCSB, don't get anything else! When you're spending that much money, get what you want, with the options you want, and the color you want. You won't regret it that way. I know in MN where I'm from, my truck turns heads everywhere I go. People come up to me at gas stations and comment on how nice it looks or they ask where in the hell I found it. (and mine's completely stock right now) So the moral of the story, is if you can't find one now, wait. Because like I said, it'll be worth it in the end driving what you want.

Jim, I was only there for 2 hours or so, but I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for Omaha...LOL! I bought it from a guy named Nate Huber at Prime Motors. Believe it or not, I drove this arrest-me-red truck nearly 1300 miles without a plate or inspection sticker and without getting pulled over...until I was less than 15 miles from home! A local pulled me about 10:00PM just as I was getting close and ticketed me (warning) for improper registration!

Here in Utah short bed regular cab's are really rare. When I bought mine, the dealer did a statewide search, and there was one in the state. It had a 4.8. So I had to special order mine.

The guy that did the order entered extended cab in the computer by mistake, and when I corrected him, he said, "why would you want a regular cab?"

I worked in Phoenix all summer, and every other truck you see is a RCSB.
